Introducing Tournaments — A New PvP Mode in UFL

Dear UFL Players,

Today, we’re excited to introduce Tournaments — a new PvP mode that expands UFL’s competitive experience and gives you another way to put your skills to the test.

Tournaments feature limited-time competitions where every match matters. Register for available events, advance through tournament brackets, face other players, and earn rewards for your achievements. Every win moves you one step closer to the next stage, while a defeat ends your run in the current competition. This format makes every match count, keeping the focus on one goal — advancing through the bracket.

How to Participate

The new Tournaments section is now available in the Competitive modes menu.

There, you’ll find all available events, along with their start times, squad requirements, participation conditions, and rewards.

Once registration opens, simply choose a tournament and sign up to compete.

Prepare Your Squad

Before you can register, your squad will be checked against the requirements of the selected competition.

Some tournaments will be open to all clubs, while others may come with additional requirements. For example, participation may be limited to clubs within a specific Squad Power range. You can also expect tournaments built around nation-based lineups, offering the chance to compete for particularly valuable rewards.

If your squad does not meet the requirements, the game will clearly indicate which conditions must be fulfilled before registration or before entering a match.

To make preparation easier, don’t forget to make use of multiple saved squads. This feature allows you to keep different squad setups ready for a variety of requirements, so you won’t have to constantly modify your main lineup.

Advance Through the Bracket

Once a tournament begins, registered participants gain access to the bracket and can start searching for opponents.

Each victory advances you to the next round and grants a reward for the completed stage. The further you progress, the closer you get to the final — and the greater the rewards become.

During a tournament, you are free to leave the mode screen and return later. Participating in other game modes will not affect your progress in Tournaments.

However, leaving an active match, losing connection, or remaining inactive for an extended period during gameplay will result in a technical defeat.

Rewards for Every Victory

In Tournaments, rewards are earned as you progress through the bracket.

After winning a round, you automatically receive the reward for the completed stage and unlock access to the next match. Information about your progress, completed matches, and earned rewards will remain available in the tournament window for a period of time after it concludes.

Even if your run ends before reaching the final, all rewards you have already earned will remain yours.

Choose the Most Convenient Time to Play

Tournaments are scheduled across different regions, so you may see multiple events with different start times in the list of available competitions.

All events are displayed in your local time zone, making it easy to plan your participation. In addition, before registering, you’ll be able to review connection quality information for the nearest server and assess your expected gameplay experience in advance.

Time to Take the Field

Tournaments introduce a new competitive format to UFL, where success depends not only on the strength of your squad, but also on your ability to confidently advance through each stage on the road to the final.

Build your best squad, choose where to compete, and begin your first tournament run today.

See you on the pitch!
