Reputation in UFL: How It Works, What It Gives, and Why It Matters

by Join Ufl

General Mechanics

The reputation system in UFL affects the player acquisition process. It works based on a capacity system, which consists of two elements: basic capacity and enhanced capacity. These two components form the overall reputation meter.

Players on the transfer market are divided into three categories:

  • Other Players – Require soft currency and occupy part of the club's reputation capacity. The higher the player's basic rating, the more capacity is required. The cost of capacity increases exponentially.

  • Free Agents – Do not require CP and do not occupy reputation capacity. They can be freely added and removed from the club.

  • Loan Players – Require CP for a loan but do not affect the club's reputation capacity. However, there is a match limit (9 matches).

Club Reputation

Club reputation consists of two parts: basic capacity and enhanced capacity. Each part changes based on the player's actions.

Basic Capacity

Basic capacity is automatically granted to the club upon its creation. This value is sufficient to acquire a captain. You can increase basic capacity in the following ways:

  • Reaching a specific division (e.g., advancing to Division X for the first time).

  • Participating in online activities.

Basic capacity does not decrease between seasons or events.

Enhanced Capacity

Enhanced capacity is a dynamic parameter that can be increased through specific actions in the game. However, it may partially decrease over time.

How to Gain Enhanced Capacity:

  • Completing matches in Ranked mode and Showdown. The amount of reputation depends on the match result (win, draw, loss).

  • Using reputation boosters, which increase earned reputation by a certain percentage.

  • Completing daily and special challenges.

  • Getting rewards for completing the Team Pass.

How Enhanced Capacity Decreases:

  • Weekly capacity deductions ("club maintenance tax"). Users receive notifications about these deductions. If a player remains inactive, the available capacity gradually decreases to zero; however, the basic capacity level remains unchanged.

If the club's total reputation exceeds the current capacity (basic + enhanced), no penalties are applied, and users can still participate in matches and other modes.

Buying Players with Reputation

Regular (free and loan) players on the transfer market have a cost in soft currency and occupy a certain amount of the club's reputation capacity. Each player takes a portion of the capacity progress bar. If the capacity is filled, purchasing new players becomes unavailable until additional capacity is freed.

How to Free Capacity:

  • Increase basic or enhanced capacity.

  • Sell current club players.

Players who cannot be purchased due to insufficient capacity are visually marked with a dimmed price. Additionally, if the "hide unavailable" filter is enabled, they do not appear in the list.

When selling a player on the transfer market, users receive part of the player's value in soft currency, and the corresponding amount of reputation capacity is freed. The same occurs when a player is compensated.

Capacity Cost Rebalance:

If the capacity cost for players on the transfer market changes, their individual reputation capacity is recalculated. If, after recalculating, the total player capacity exceeds the club's available reputation capacity, no penalties will be applied, but purchasing new players will be impossible until free capacity is increased.
