The new Surge Event is now live in UFL, bringing a standout reward this time — two versions of the Legendary Oliver Rolf Kahn Player Cards.

From March 19 to March 26, you’ll progress through a series of challenges, unlocking valuable rewards along the way. Complete all stages to earn the Legendary goalkeeper featuring the new Far Guard skill.

During the event, special Surge Packs will also be available, along with new bundles featuring the Legendary card.

How the Surge Event Works

The Surge Event returns with its familiar challenge-based format, where players progress through a sequence of stages and unlock rewards as they advance.

During the event, you’ll need to complete 10 challenges within 7 days. Each new challenge can only be unlocked after the previous one is completed.

For this Surge Event, several challenges have been updated and reworked, with some replaced by new ones to deliver a more balanced and smooth gameplay experience.

As you progress, the difficulty gradually increases, making each step of the journey more engaging.

As in the previous Surge, you can preview all challenges in advance, allowing you to plan your strategy and prepare your squad ahead of time.

Free and Premium Reward Tracks

Each Surge Event features two progression tracks: Free and Premium.

This allows all players to participate in the event, while those seeking additional rewards can unlock the extended track.

Free Reward Track

Available to all players and includes:

• Surge Pack
• Surge Pack Lite
• Credit Points
• League Points
• Particles
• Legendary Player Card (Rating: 92)

Premium Reward Track

Available for 1000 LP. Includes additional rewards:

• More Surge Packs
• More Surge Pack Lite
• Additional Credit Points, League Points, and Particles
• Higher-rated Legendary Player Card (Rating: 94)

Both tracks progress simultaneously as you complete challenges.

Challenge Skips

Any challenge can be skipped using LP.

Once skipped:

• the challenge is automatically completed
• rewards become available to claim
• the next challenge unlocks

The skip cost is fixed across all stages at 500 LP.

Players can also complete the entire Surge Event instantly using the “COMPLETE ALL CHALLENGES” option, which unlocks all remaining stages and rewards in a single action. The cost is calculated dynamically based on your current progress.

We’re very excited to introduce Surge, a brand-new, unique event type in UFL. The first Surge Event is launching on February 19 and will run until February 26. These special events are designed for those who are ready to take on the challenge, strengthen their squad with truly incredible Legendary cards, and elevate their lineup to a whole new level.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how Surge Events work, the opportunities they offer, and how you can gain access to them.

How Surge Events Work

Surge Events are a dynamic and engaging new event format for UFL featuring special opportunities and rewards. During the first Surge Event, players will need to complete 10 challenges within 7 days. As you progress, the difficulty will gradually increase.

Challenges will unlock sequentially, one after another, as you advance through the event. At the same time, strategic thinking will be rewarded — players can preview the Surge’s challenges in advance. Their conditions are displayed from the start, allowing you to effectively plan and prepare your strategy.

Free and Premium Reward Tracks

The best thing about the Surge? Everyone can participate! Surge Events offer two progression tracks, Free and Premium, allowing every player to choose the participation format that suits them best so they can get the most out of each Surge. The Premium track unlocks additional opportunities for faster and more efficient progression, but the Free track is just as much fun!

Running from February 5 to March 5, the pass brings together progression content built around Brazil’s iconic movement, flair, and love for the beautiful game, giving players a fresh way to develop their dream squad while unlocking unique and valuable items.

The Brasil Team Pass delivers a wide range of rewards inspired by legendary football moments and Brazilian culture. As you progress through the pass, you’ll unlock Cafu Legend cards with Ratings 88 and 90, alongside a special Legendary Pack offering both a chance and a guaranteed drop rate to secure Cafu’s top-rated 92 version. How to Join The Pass

Head to the Events section in UFL and open the Team Pass tab — or simply navigate to the Team Pass banner on your right — to start your Brasil Team Pass journey. From the first page, you’ll begin unlocking rewards via Star Points (SP) as you progress through the pass.

Earn Star Points by completing daily and weekly challenges, or use the SP shop — available for both standard and Elite pass owners — to progress through the Team Pass at your own pace. For faster access, the Elite and Deluxe editions grant bonus SP and unlock several pages instantly.

Progression System

This team pass introduces a refreshed progression system where pages unlock based on your total Star Points spent across the pass. Every reward you claim contributes to opening new pages, allowing you to progress at your own pace while choosing which rewards to unlock first.

• Increased the responsiveness of powerful short-range ground passes performed from dribbling.
• Added a set of animations that improve movement stability and smoothness during Strafe Dribble.

AI Assist, Bot

• Attacking AI Behaviour
  • Players now have more freedom in attacking actions — when getting open for a pass, they can move farther away from their formation positions.
  • Midfielders now participate more actively in attacks and stay higher up the pitch in the opponent’s half.
  • Forwards and midfielders now make more frequent runs in behind the defense.
  • Players inside the box now get open for passes more actively and change their positioning zones more often.
• Improved player positioning on free kicks in the opponent’s half:
  • The attacking team will always have at least one option for a short and safe set-piece play.
  • The defending team now positions one player near the center line more effectively to support potential fast counter-attacks.
• Fixed an issue with incorrect free kick and corner kick takers in training.
• Fixed a soft lock when the ball went out for a throw-in in local mode.
• Fixed cases where the bot could perform a cross or low cross into the box while turning.
• Fixed one-touch shots on goal from extremely tight angles after collecting a loose ball.

The Africa Team Pass offers a rich lineup of rewards centered around that continent’s legendary talent and bold visual identity. As you progress, you can earn Jay-Jay Okocha Legend cards at Ratings 88 and 90, while a special Legendary Pack offers both a chance and a guaranteed drop rate to secure his top-rated 92-rating version. The pass also introduces Africa Packs in Standard and Lite variants, featuring player cards of the strongest African footballers, wrapped in a distinctive African visual theme across both card designs and pack presentation. Alongside these, you’ll collect CP, Particles, and LP to fuel your squad’s development.   • Improved player movement when shielding the ball with his body.
  • Players maintain their position and retain possession more effectively in challenging situations.
  • Dribble Covering animations have been optimized.
  • Transitions between Dribble Covering, other dribbling modes, ball control, and feints have been improved.
• Ground Passes:
  • Increased responsiveness of short ground passes when performed from dribbling.
  • Fixed animation errors during passes.
• Goalkeeper:
  • Improved goalkeeper behaviour when putting the ball back into play — he now turns more naturally before throwing or rolling the ball.
  • Improved behaviour on free kicks: better assessment of shots going near the goal.
  • Improved deflections — the goalkeeper is more likely to direct the ball into safer areas and less likely to knock it into his own net.
  • Improved reactions to shots hitting the crossbar.
  • Refined positioning and movement logic when reacting to chip shots. 
• Fixed an issue where the aiming target would disappear after changing the penalty taker or become oversized.

AI Assist, Bot

• Slightly reduced marking intensity for AI-controlled center-backs.
• Refined offside line positioning logic for AI-controlled defenders.
• Improved short-range collision avoidance.
• Refined player positioning during corner kicks.
• Fixed an issue where the goalkeeper would come off his line after the ball deflected off a defender.
