Introducing Tournaments — A New PvP Mode in UFL

Dear UFL Players,

Today, we’re excited to introduce Tournaments — a new PvP mode that expands UFL’s competitive experience and gives you another way to put your skills to the test.

Tournaments feature limited-time competitions where every match matters. Register for available events, advance through tournament brackets, face other players, and earn rewards for your achievements. Every win moves you one step closer to the next stage, while a defeat ends your run in the current competition. This format makes every match count, keeping the focus on one goal — advancing through the bracket.

How to Participate

The new Tournaments section is now available in the Competitive modes menu.

There, you’ll find all available events, along with their start times, squad requirements, participation conditions, and rewards.

Once registration opens, simply choose a tournament and sign up to compete.

Prepare Your Squad

Before you can register, your squad will be checked against the requirements of the selected competition.

Some tournaments will be open to all clubs, while others may come with additional requirements. For example, participation may be limited to clubs within a specific Squad Power range. You can also expect tournaments built around nation-based lineups, offering the chance to compete for particularly valuable rewards.

If your squad does not meet the requirements, the game will clearly indicate which conditions must be fulfilled before registration or before entering a match.

To make preparation easier, don’t forget to make use of multiple saved squads. This feature allows you to keep different squad setups ready for a variety of requirements, so you won’t have to constantly modify your main lineup.

Advance Through the Bracket

Once a tournament begins, registered participants gain access to the bracket and can start searching for opponents.

Each victory advances you to the next round and grants a reward for the completed stage. The further you progress, the closer you get to the final — and the greater the rewards become.

During a tournament, you are free to leave the mode screen and return later. Participating in other game modes will not affect your progress in Tournaments.

However, leaving an active match, losing connection, or remaining inactive for an extended period during gameplay will result in a technical defeat.

Rewards for Every Victory

In Tournaments, rewards are earned as you progress through the bracket.

After winning a round, you automatically receive the reward for the completed stage and unlock access to the next match. Information about your progress, completed matches, and earned rewards will remain available in the tournament window for a period of time after it concludes.

Even if your run ends before reaching the final, all rewards you have already earned will remain yours.

Choose the Most Convenient Time to Play

Tournaments are scheduled across different regions, so you may see multiple events with different start times in the list of available competitions.

All events are displayed in your local time zone, making it easy to plan your participation. In addition, before registering, you’ll be able to review connection quality information for the nearest server and assess your expected gameplay experience in advance.

Time to Take the Field

Tournaments introduce a new competitive format to UFL, where success depends not only on the strength of your squad, but also on your ability to confidently advance through each stage on the road to the final.

Build your best squad, choose where to compete, and begin your first tournament run today.

See you on the pitch!

New Surge Event Is Now Live in UFL: Complete Challenges and Add Raphinha to Your Squad

Dear UFL Players,

A new Surge Event has arrived in UFL, and this time a special reward awaits — a 97-rated Raphinha player card.

From June 18 to June 25, you’ll take on a series of challenges, progressing through event stages and unlocking valuable rewards along the way. Complete all challenges to earn one of the most exciting attacking players in modern football and add a special event version of Raphinha to your squad.

Special Surge Packs featuring a brand-new player collection will also be available throughout the event.

Ready to take on the Surge challenge?

How Surge Events Work

Surge Event returns with its familiar challenge-based format, where players progress through a series of stages and unlock rewards along the way.

During the event, you’ll need to complete 10 challenges over 7 days. Each new challenge becomes available after the previous one has been completed.

As you progress, the difficulty gradually increases, making each stage more rewarding than the last.

As with previous Surge Events, players can view all challenge requirements in advance, making it easier to plan ahead and prepare their squads.

Free and Premium Reward Tracks

Each Surge Event features two progression tracks: Free and Premium.

This allows all players to participate in the event, while those looking for additional rewards can unlock the expanded reward track.

Free Reward Track

Available to all players and includes:

  • Surge Raphinha Pack
  • Surge Raphinha Pack Lite
  • Credit Points
  • League Points
  • Particles
  • 97-rated Raphinha player card

Premium Reward Track

Available for 1,000 LP and includes additional rewards:

  • More Surge Raphinha Packs
  • More Surge Raphinha Pack Lite Packs
  • Additional Credit Points, League Points, and Particles
  • 97-rated Raphinha player card

As challenges are completed, progress is earned on both reward tracks simultaneously.

Skipping Challenges

Any challenge can be skipped using LP.

After skipping a challenge:

  • It is automatically marked as completed
  • Rewards become available
  • The next challenge is unlocked

The skip cost is fixed for all stages and is set at 500 LP.

Players can also complete the entire Surge Event instantly using the COMPLETE ALL CHALLENGES option, which unlocks all remaining stages and rewards at once. The cost is calculated dynamically based on the current progression.

Automatic Opening of Unopened Packs in UFL

Dear UFL Players,

We’re introducing a new automatic pack opening system in UFL.

The update is designed to help players receive rewards from Packs that have remained unopened in their Storage for a long time. These Packs will now open automatically on specific dates, with all rewards instantly added to the player’s account.

Automatic Pack Opening

From now on, all your unopened Packs will automatically open on the dates shown in the description of each Pack in the Store and Storage.

Automatic opening will take place regularly. After each automatic opening, the next opening date will be updated in the Pack’s description in the Store.

  • Packs open automatically
  • Rewards are granted even if the player has not logged into the game
  • If another pack drops from a pack during auto-opening, it will also be opened automatically, and all rewards contained within it will be credited to the player’s account
  • All items and currencies are immediately saved to the account

After logging into the game, players will see a single window containing all rewards received from automatic pack opening, including guaranteed rewards. To complete the process, simply press the “Claim all” button.

Important: all rewards will, in fact, already have been credited to the account before the player presses “Claim all” in the rewards window.

Automatic Opening of Skin Packs

All unopened Skin Packs will be automatically opened on July 23, 2026.

This will happen automatically upon the player’s first login after updating the client.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Unique Skins will be converted into Legacy cards
  • Other Skins will remain in the player’s account
  • You will be able to exchange these Skins for Particles.

All Rewards Are Preserved

All items, currencies, and compensations will remain safely stored in the player’s account.

Nothing will be lost, even if:

  • The player has not logged into the game for a long time
  • The rewards window was not shown immediately
  • The game was closed before pressing the “Claim all” button

If certain items are no longer available in the game, players will automatically receive appropriate compensation.

Rewards Window

After an automatic pack opening is completed, players will see a single summary window containing all received rewards.

The window displays:

  • all received items
  • currencies
  • compensations
  • rewards from different Pack types

Where to Find the Automatic Opening Date

The automatic pack opening date is displayed in the Pack’s description:

  • in the in-game Store
  • in the Storage

All times are displayed in the player’s local time zone, as configured on the device used to play the game.

See you on the pitch!
