UFL’s summer starts with Footy Fest, a major seasonal event running from June 11 to July 29.

The weeks ahead will be packed with surprises: special activities, brand-new challenges, themed offers, and exclusive content designed to keep the action going!

What’s in Store During Footy Fest

Footy Fest will bring new opportunities to build your squad in new ways, earn event rewards, and take part in special in-game activities throughout the summer. Get ready for unique challenges, progression tracks, special Squad Swaps, and dedicated Surge events inspired by some of the biggest stars in world football.

If you take part in every Footy Fest activity and complete the event from start to finish, you automatically qualify for a chance to unlock an exclusive reward — the Footy Fest Champ Badge, reserved for UFL’s most dedicated players.

During Footy Fest, players will also be able to compete in the vibrant Footy Fest Arena. Beyond its spectacular light show and major tournament atmosphere, the stadium will feature unique challenges tied to event progression and rewards.

Footy Fest Team Pass

Footy Fest will last from June 11 to July 29, 2026

The Footy Fest Team Pass will be one of the main attractions of the summer in UFL. You’ll complete challenges, rack up progress, and unlock exclusive event rewards throughout the festival.

The grand prize of Footy Fest’s Team Pass is a Legendary Fabio Cannavaro card, celebrating one of the most decorated and recognizable defenders in football history. As you progress through the Team Pass, you’ll unlock multiple versions of the Fabio Cannavaro player card, each featuring its own set of bonuses and advantages.

Footy Fest Trials

Duration: June 11 – July 29, 2026

The Footy Fest Trials are a series of daily challenges that will accompany you throughout the entire festival. New objectives and rewards await you each day, allowing you to steadily collect valuable resources and special event packs.

Log in daily, complete challenges, and unlock new rewards. But don’t worry—if you miss a day, you can always return to a previously missed challenge. Just unlock it for 50 LP, complete the objective, and claim the reward while continuing your progress through the current event challenges.

A special series of Squad Swaps will be available in the Footy Fest event hub throughout the festival. Take on Squad challenges, solve squad-building puzzles, and unlock player cards, special packs, and other valuable rewards.

New themed Sets of Squads dedicated to some of football’s most iconic players will become available throughout Footy Fest:

• Ranked season rewards will be distributed based on the final division at the end of the season.
• All players will be reassigned based on their final rank from the previous season:

Hello UFL Players!

The new Nike Surge Event is now live in UFL, bringing exclusive Nike Mercurial rewards, a series of challenges, and special packs featuring some of football’s biggest stars.

From June 4 to June 11, complete challenges, earn valuable rewards, and unlock two iconic pairs of boots — Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 and Nike Mercurial Superfly 11.

Both boot models can be unlocked by completing the first event challenge.

During the Nike Surge Event, special Vapor Packs and Superfly Packs featuring a selection of standout footballers will also be available.

This time, completing the event is even easier. We’ve rebalanced the challenge difficulty and made the objectives more accessible, allowing you to progress through the event faster and earn rewards with less effort.

How the Nike Surge Event Works

The Nike Surge Event follows the familiar challenge-based format, where players progress through stages and earn rewards by completing challenges.

During the event, you’ll need to complete 10 challenges within 7 days. Each new challenge unlocks only after the previous one has been completed.

As you progress through the event, you’ll earn various rewards and unlock new stages on your way to full completion.

As with previous Surge Events, all challenges can be viewed in advance, allowing you to plan your progress and prepare your squad.

Free Reward Track

Unlike previous Surge Events, the Nike Surge Event is completely free for all players.

By completing challenges, you’ll be able to earn:

• Event Packs;
• Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 Boots;
• Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 Boots.

Both exclusive boot models can be obtained by completing the very first event challenge. In addition, you can earn two rewards from each of the subsequent challenges.

Complete all stages to claim every available reward before the event ends.

Challenge Skips

Any challenge can be skipped using LP.

Once skipped:

• the challenge is automatically completed;
• rewards become available to claim;
• the next challenge unlocks.

The skip cost for any stage is 250 LP.

Players can also instantly complete the entire event using the COMPLETE ALL CHALLENGES option, which unlocks all remaining stages and rewards. The final cost is calculated dynamically based on current progression.

Nike Surge Packs

During the event, four special packs inspired by the Nike Mercurial lineup will be available in the in-game store:

• Superfly Pack — 749 LP
• Superfly Pack Lite — 119 LP
• Vapor Pack — 749 LP
• Vapor Pack Lite — 119 LP

Each pack contains a selection of footballers featuring the Sharp Link-Up Style and includes guaranteed featured players.

As part of the Nike Surge Event, you’ll also have access to two themed Squad Swaps. Complete them in full to earn exclusive final rewards — the Superfly Pack and the Vapor Pack.

• open the Events section in-game;
• select the Nike Surge Event.

What to expect: Two free challenge tracks with rewards, including new Nike boots, as well as Vapor Pack, Vapor Pack Lite, Superfly Pack, and Superfly Pack Lite.

• Fixed an issue where feints and Super Cancel would not activate when using reassigned button combinations with the Custom control scheme.

We’re updating our End-User License Agreement (EULA) to clarify your rights and to provide certain other information to you. The updated EULA will take effect as of 28 June, 2026. You can read the updated EULA.

• provisions on Premium Upgrades offered on a subscription basis (Sections 2.2 and, for EEA users, 2.10);
• how payment processing may differ depending on how you access the Game or make purchases (Section 2.7);
• how and why we may modify the Services, including content changes (Sections 4.1 and 4.2);
• how we handle unauthorized benefits and possible consequences (Section 6.4);
• rules relating to User Generated Content and fan services (Sections 7.1, 7.2, and 7.5);
• when the EULA may be amended and what happens if you do not accept the changes (Sections 13.1 and, for EEA users, 13.3);

Gameplay

• Adjusted pass interception mechanics: players now intercept the ball in situations where they have enough time to make the interception and hold a clear advantage.
• Fixed incorrect display of the Manual Ground Pass direction when the player is not intending to perform it.
• Refined off-the-ball movement during turns.
• Fixed an issue where a player could freeze after a tackle when the ball went out of play.
• Fixed an issue where the Ball-Blocker Skill icon would not appear above the player when the skill was activated.
• Fixed overrunning during passes and shots after feints, dribbling, and first-touch crosses.
• Fixed minor issues with regular passes and through passes.
• Rebalanced goalkeeper reactions to finesse shots and trivela shots from the corners of the penalty area.
• Fixed excessive power buildup when pressing a pass/shot input with a modifier, then releasing the modifier and pressing RT/R2.
• Fixed illogical goalkeeper deflection power in certain gameplay situations.
• Fixed an issue where intercepting or collecting a loose ball while a pass/shot input was queued could interrupt the ball control animation and prevent the queued action from being executed.
• Fixed an issue where players would not move out of the path of the ball carrier.
• Slightly adjusted the defensive behaviour of lower-level bots to better match the expected level of play.

Other

• Added a new feature allowing players to create and manage multiple squads.
  • Up to 4 active squad presets can now be created using club players.
  • Current squads can now be duplicated, deleted, and edited in the My Club screen.
  • Each squad can now have its own unique customization, badge, kit, stadium, etc.
  • The reserve section now displays all players in the club, while players assigned to squads are marked with labels.
• Fixed a number of bugs in Squad Swaps.
• The appearance of the following players has been updated:

This marks a major milestone for the franchise and the next step in the evolution of the UFL franchise following the releases on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

UFL first launched in December 2024, and has attracted more than 7 million players around the world since then. During this time, UFL has become one of the most talked-about new football simulators in recent years, bringing together a community that values its fair, skill-based gameplay and modern approach to football simulation.

Now, we’re taking another big step: bringing UFL to mobile devices.

UFL on mobile is being built specifically for mobile gaming, combining the console football experience with faster, more accessible, and more comfortable gameplay designed for mobile audiences. Players can expect AAA-quality visuals, dynamic matches, simplified controls, quick game sessions, and a mobile-first design while preserving the core identity of UFL as a skill-based football experience.

Players will be able to create their own football clubs, collect footballers with different rarities and attributes, upgrade player cards, unlock new content through progression systems, and gradually build their dream squad. Live-ops systems will play a major role in the mobile version, including limited-time player collections, Team Passes, seasonal activities, and special events inspired by the world’s biggest football tournaments.

At launch, players will have access to Training Mode, PvE Career, PvP, and a 4v4 multiplayer mode where four real players simultaneously control individual footballers on the pitch in fast-paced matches. This mode will become one of the key features of UFL on mobile.

One of the first major live-ops events will be the Open Tournament, a limited-time in-game event inspired by the heightened global excitement that surrounds world football every four years. Players will be able to choose countries and difficulty levels, progress through tournament stages, and earn exclusive rewards.

Licensing and partnerships will also play an important role in the overall gameplay experience. Through collaboration with FIFPro, the game features real footballers, while the partnership with adidas brings the official adidas Trionda match ball, themed gear, and stadium content into UFL on mobile.

Federico Valverde and Raphinha appear in UFL on mobile as the project’s ambassadors, with Raphinha guiding players through the onboarding experience and introducing key gameplay mechanics during the early stages of progression.

Throughout the expansion of the soft launch phase, the Strikerz Inc. team will continue to actively develop the project together with the community. We are carefully gathering player feedback, analyzing gameplay data, and preparing new updates for content, game modes, and core gameplay systems. The full global launch of UFL on mobile will take place later in 2026.

UFL on mobile will be available on iOS and Android.
